Gudesl Hub is a flooring material calculator for installers and contractors. It figures carpet, tile, plank and stair quantities and gathers the results into one job list. The calculations run on your phone or tablet and the job data stays there. This policy explains exactly what that means.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers the Gudesl Hub mobile application published by Ethan Jensen. It does not cover the app store that delivered the app to you, your device operating system, or any supplier, merchant or website you visit after leaving the app.

EFFECTIVE 19 SEPTEMBER 2026

What you enter into the app

Everything the app works with is measurement and job information that you type in yourself:

  • Room or area dimensions — length, width, height, and the area labels you give them.
  • Material selections: carpet, tile, wood plank or similar products, and stair components such as treads, risers and stringers.
  • Installation pattern choices (for example straight or diagonal plank layouts) and the waste or cut allowance applied to a calculation.
  • Tile sizes, roll widths and any quantities you adjust by hand.
  • Job names, notes and the consolidated job list that assembles your saved calculations.

None of this is personal information by nature, and the app does not ask you for your name, address, phone number, client details or payment details.

Where that information is stored

Your calculations and job lists are saved in the app's own storage area on your device. They are written there so you can reopen a project later, verify quantities before ordering, and adjust a job when the scope changes.

We operate no account system and no server that holds your job data. The publisher cannot browse, retrieve or restore your job list — if the app is uninstalled or the device is wiped, that data is gone unless it is included in a backup you configured yourself (for example an iCloud or Google device backup, which is governed by that provider's terms, not ours).

What the app does not collect

Struck off the takeoff entirely:

  • No advertising identifiers and no ad networks.
  • No third-party analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs.
  • No location tracking, contacts access or device-address-book reads.
  • No behavioural profiling, and no sale or sharing of data with data brokers.
  • No sign-in, no email capture inside the app, no cloud sync of your projects.

Device permissions

Gudesl Hub is built to run with the minimum the platform requires. It does not need camera, microphone, location or contacts access to calculate materials. If a future version adds an optional feature that needs a permission — for instance exporting a job list to a file you choose — your device will ask you at the moment you use it, and declining simply leaves that one feature unavailable.

If you email support

When you write to ethan.jensen24@gmail.com , that message arrives with your email address and whatever you choose to include — such as a description of a calculation that looks wrong, or the figures you entered. We use it only to answer you and to fix the issue described.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for resolving the matter and then deleted. Please do not send client records, pricing agreements or anything confidential; a plain description of the numbers is enough.

Retention and deletion

Because your job data lives only on your device, you control its lifetime completely. You can delete an individual calculation or a whole job from within the app, or remove everything at once by uninstalling Gudesl Hub or clearing its storage through your device settings.

There is no deletion request to file with us for job data — there is nothing on our side to delete. For support emails, write to the address above and ask for the thread to be removed.

Children

Gudesl Hub is a professional trade tool intended for flooring installers and contractors. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal information at all.

Changes to this policy and how to reach us

If the app's behaviour changes — for example if an optional export or sharing feature is added — this policy will be revised before or alongside that release, and the revision date on the job plate above will be updated. Continuing to use the app after a revision means the current version applies to you.
