The Hot Coffee exploit in the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was a "huge controversy" because, if exploited, it would allow for a gamer to have simulated sex with your girlfriend in the game.
(Of course, like all the women and men in the game you can just savagely murder said girlfriend in many different ways, yet it's a travesty if, in said game, there's a fully clothed pixelated romp in the sack.)
In the latest version of Grand Theft Auto , you can hire a prostitute in the game, and since it's in first-person mode now, you can see what goes on in the car after you hire her — and yes, it's fully clothed sexy times after paying her for it.
But, truth be told, you could already hire two fully naked strippers to dance for you in a strip club and then fandango your way into their apartment for more in GTA 5 . If this becomes a controversy, the tough questions need to start getting answers — and those involve: "Who are these people that are so offended by everything?," "Why are they allowed to have a voice, let alone the loudest voice?," and "How does someone playing this video game have any relevance to your personal life?"
There are limits that should be enforced, but they're starting to get a little ridiculous. Oh and if you're really overly concerned about your child playing this video game — how about don't let them? The game is already rated M, meaning minors can't buy it. Beyond that, teens can get simulated sex experiences basically anywhere else on the internet.
What do you think about this in game simulated sex? Are we making a big deal out of nothing? Comment below and let us know what you think to start the conversation.

A new video circulating the web reveals what GTA 5’s strong sexual content actually entails.
The clip below shows, in first person perpsective, a very familiar scene, but made more explicit than ever before. The player propositions a hooker, has sex with her, and then knocks her out after she leaves the car.
The effect is the same but Rockstar has upped the ante on the realism. While the scenes don’t go all the way as Dragon Age, they are definitely graphic, and there’s no question about what you’re doing here.
Watching this clip, it’s safe to say the Hot Coffee mod was definitely a long time ago. Of course, this is not for everyone, but it does give you a good idea of how Rockstar has made use of FPP in the new GTA.

The following videos are Not Safe For Work . While Grand Theft Auto V 's gameplay hasn't really changed from last year's release, the perspective has. Going from third-person to first-person changes a lot in terms of how the content is experienced and when it comes to the controversial sex scenes... it adds a whole new level naughtiness to the game.
Tumblr blog Those Video Game Moments captured some of the more controversial moments from the recently released PS4 and Xbox One version of Grand Theft Auto V , by posting a series of videos that are bound to make puritans queasy and prudes uneasy. As mentioned at the top of the article, the following content is NSFW .
Shocking right? It's also amazing how the switch from third-person to first-person completely alters how graphic the content is. From the standard third-person view you have obstructions in the way and a bit of distance from “the action”. However, in first-person it's a bit hard to escape what's really going on.
Of course, you don't actually see nudity and the sex isn't explicit, but it's still pretty NSFW. Those Video Game Moments also tossed up two additional videos with different scenarios in play, like the one below (still NSFW, in case you were wondering).
Over on the YouTube pages there's a pretty stiff debate taking place over whether or not Rockstar really crossed the line. The interesting thing here is that the content was always available and present in GTA V . This isn't new. The only thing that's new is the perspective. Interestingly enough, the debate takes on a different tone based on player perspective, which I think is very fascinating. Perspective changing intent.
There's one last video (still NSFW) that the blog posted from the recently released GTA V that you can check out below.
The comment section on the page is filled with some interesting thoughts, and the YouTube videos have even more interesting conversations going on. Yes, the YouTube comment sections have some interesting conversations going on.
I think this whole thing has been an exercise in discussing how much is too much? And, is this too far even for Rockstar?
Again, this content was already available in GTA V for the past year when it released in September, 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PS3; but going from third-person to first-person seems to have opened up a whole new can of worms when it comes to the topic of interactive sex in video games.
