Grrl Power has several attractive young girls having sex, what more could you want? There are pop-up ads during the film that say silly things like the girl's birth dates and useless trivia, but it is still interesting and something new. There is very little plot and is basically just several scenes of sex, which is good, but it may not be the perfect couples movies. There is no music during the sex scenes. The basic plot to each scene is a girl writes in to these girls for advice and the girls act-out their advice which is using there `grrl power' to get what they want. Which basically means having sex to get what they want. Great! This is a very silly porn film but some of the girls are young and attractive. It is worth getting just to see eighteen year old girls without implants. Some of the girls do have tattoos though.

You know, sometimes the titles to these pages are funny references or portmanteaus or repurposed idioms, and sometimes they’re “I can’t think of anything better and it’s been an hour.” It’s the equivalent of browsing Netflix for 25 minutes before finally clicking on something that barely surpasses the “I’m sick of scrolling” threshold. I will let you decide which kind this title is.
The equations floating around Deus are actual math I found after googling disaster recovery. Of course, without knowing what all those letters stand for, they’re probably not immediately useful. It seems to me that there aren’t nearly enough letters and symbols to cover all the needs in math. I mean, sure “c” stands for “the speed of light” in one equation, (which now that I think about it, is probably called “c” because it’s one of the few universal constants. Huh. That’s probably super obvious but I never really thought about it before.) What was I… Oh, right, so “c” means the speed of light in one equation, then it means “circumference” in another, and “number of accidental circumcisions” in another. Of course, the need to reuse symbols for variables is because we only have so many symbols in Romanized languages, but it makes me wonder if in Chinese equations for stuff like this just use the Chinese symbol? I mean, why memorize the what the fancy cursive “Q” in the equation means if you can just use a symbol that means “population” and instead of “Co” with a superscript “i” and a subscript “j”, just use the symbol for “local economic impact” or whatever.
Okay, sure, despite Chinese having ~106K characters, there’s probably not a singular one that means “local economic impact” but you get what I mean. And yes, I know I could probably just google the answer to my question, but I imagine the answer is probably no, Chinese math probably doesn’t look like a three dimensional sentence, but I think that’s a missed opportunity.
ANYWAY. Panel 5 there is just supposed to be a very truncated version of all the stuff going through his mind. He’s also considering environmental impact, cost of relocating population, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanocon iosis prevention, etc. Basically doing a super computer’s worth of work, but guided by a creative, organic mind. His conclusion is that overall this is a net positive, but will take some effort to fully deal with.
I’m a big fan of John Byrne’s run on “The Sensational She Hulk” and the imminent show looks very Sensational influenced. T herefore, I was inspired to draw some buff (pun intended) She Hulk, and threw in Red She Hulk for fun. Also, a wild Sydney for scale. To answer some questions about Darude’s powers. He can control sand, and also transform into it, IF he has at least his own mass of sand to… hide in, sort of. A lot of superpowers (and magic spells) rely on semantics, so the question isn’t, “What is sand,” it’s “What does Darude consider to be sand?” Sand is really just particulate minerals, but Darude grew up in the desert, so he probably couldn’t use sand from a coral beach right off the bat. Sure, if he was the main character of his own comic, he’d almost definitely grow his powers over time and be able to use coral sand and maybe even be able to control concrete, or at least rip the sand out of it. In a manga, there’d be many multi-page sequences of him trying to work past his own definition of sand, like, when does a grain of sand become a pebble, or is there some intermediate designation that geologists use? Maybe when he’s a giant sandstorm, small to medium sized pebbles count as “sand” to him because of the difference in scale.
But what Sydney did was to melt the top 3 to 4 inches of particulate matter into a big molten trail of lava/glass, which then rapidly cooled and broke into slabs ranging from the size of the top of a shipping container down to, well, tiny, dangerous splinters that could reasonably be considered sand. Even so, she tied up about 97% of the sand for a few miles in any direction – remember the bits she skipped over was farmland, which will be soil rather than sand, (I think the major differentiator is that “soil” has far more organic matter in it) roads, and the odd building.
To address some other concerns people mentioned; yeah, she absolutely wrecked the ecosystem in that area. If anyone actually brought her attention to how many little desert mice and lizards she just smoked, she might legitimately have a breakdown. Basically, she saw a giant Mummy sized sandstorm and focused on solving that to the detriment of other considerations. The worst thing about her plan was that if Maxima hadn’t been able to keep him distracted and he had plowed onward, she could have done all this only to find him pulling sand from another part of the desert. It wasn’t really a strong plan in a lot of ways, but at the same time, it might have been the best one? Bottom line is, Darude is potentially a catastrophic level event, and sometimes to beat a catastrophe, you must become a catastrophe.

“Sydney! What did you do to the desert?!”
“As deserts are defined by the amount of rainfall they receive… technically I didn’t change anything?”
So, Sydney had a bold plan, and enacted it. There’s something to be said for decisive action, even if it’s likely that a much better plan could have been envisioned at a future date with ample time for planning.
I’m not sure if the scale quite comes across like I wanted it to. The bottom panel started off as a screenshot from Google Earth, and I think that obsidian disk is like… 10 kilometers across? I know it looks like a jagged purple mess, but I actually spent a lot of time cutting out little bits and bobs here and there for roads and patches of farmland from the original screenshot. Sydney didn’t want to actually fuck up any existing infrastructure, though she’s probably caused some headaches for future development and will have definitely will have thrown off some grazing habits.
Tourist attraction wise, I would suggest naming it “Lake Scoville,” or “The Scoville Cataclysm.”

Shén wèi (according to google translate) means “divine guardian” or really “divine guard” because “divine guardian” actually translates to “Shénshèng shǒuhù zhě” which isn’t nearly as pithy sounding. I don’t know anything about Chinese, but it seems weird that changing “guard” to “guardian” so radically changes the translation. Maybe google thought I meant “a person in charge of a minor’s welfare” and not “an actual guard (but ‘guardian’ sounds cooler so let’s say that instead.)”
Not sure what else to say about this page, other than if you’re a general purpose adventurer, an AOE “fuck off” attack is critical. Being the best swordsman doesn’t help with swarms of bees or clouds of acid. If you don’t have a “Respect my Personal Space” move, you’re gonna get fucked one day. Telekinesis is one of those overly powerful powers, almost like super speed, but with TK it depends heavily on the rules of the ability. A lot of TKers can’t lift themselves, or will often struggle with lifting heavy objects or coordinating multiple things at a time. But if you have the Industrial Strength version of the power, then you’ve got pushing, pulling, lifting, flying, force fields, control over air pressure, “fuck off” blasts, kinetic blasts, dancing swords, etc. You’d never need a toolbox in your trunk because you can just make a screwdriver that matches any screw no matter how insane the manufacturer designs them. You’d never need a hammer, drill, a belt knife. Heck, you could just skin and field dress a deer (or a human) at 50 paces if you had enough precision and sharp edges in your TK.
