Till what age does penis grow and develop for men? And how long should penis be at 19? (Male, 19 y. o.)
In average, penis in length grows till age 17, but its width can increase up till age 19-20. Size of the penis also depends from sexual activity of the man – how much does it work during period of growth, as well as from heredity. Observing twins, it has been found that their penises can differ a lot. Also, development of penis – speed of the growth and size, can speak about different sexual and hormonal malfunctions. There are even special tables, after which you can compare and evaluate boy’s sexual development by the size of his penis.
Usually penis grows till age 17, during next period of life (till age 20) it widens and also becomes a little bit shorter (usually by 0,5 cm). This is called a “balloon phenomenon”. At age 19 the perfect length of the penis would be 9-10% of man’s height and perimeter of the proportional penis should be 7-8% of the man’s height (for example: the perfect penis of 180 cm tall man would be 18 cm long and 14-15 cm in perimeter).

He had the hormone level of a 25-year-old and started getting facial and body hair.
The toddler, called Akash to protect his identity, has the rare condition "precocious puberty".
His family started noticing his abnormal growth when he was six months.
Not only was he taller than other babies his age, his penis was developing alarmingly too.
His mum said in Delhi, India: "We thought he was just a big baby but later everyone started to point out that that this growth couldn't be normal.
"His penis had grown to that of a man's size and we knew something was wrong."
The boy's doctor Vaishakhi Rustagi said: "Usually this disorder is caused due to brain or stomach tumour, but we didn't find anything as such in blood reports.
"The child was lucky in a way because tumour usually increases complications and leads to cancer."
The paediatrician, of Max Super Speciality Hospital, added: "Since the baby was so young, he could hardly understand the changes taking place in his body.
"He would experience sexual urges. Precocious puberty is traumatic for a child of his age and it makes them violent.
"His muscle strength increased to a level that even his parents couldn't control him.
"If such children are not treated, they will become violent. The physical changes will not be suitable for their age.
"It is a rare case that happens once in 10 odd years. Precocious puberty is traumatic for a child of his age.
"The baby can't express his feelings or understand what his happening to him, while his parents are left confused.
"If such children are not treated, they will become violent. The physical changes will not be suitable for their age.
"They will also stop growing after a few years and remain about 3-4ft tall."
Akash was put on hormone therapy after his parents went to see a doctor when he was 18 months old and his voice had started to break.
His hormonal developments and genital size decreased after five months.
He is now given a monthly dose which blocks the effects of hormones.
The treatment will continue until he is mentally stable enough to grasp the changes in his body.
Dr. Rustagi said: "If such children are not treated, they will become violent.
"The physical changes will not be suitable for their age. They will also stop growing after a few years and remain about 3-4ft tall."
