Even if you're only into one-person-at-a-time sex, you can't deny being at least a teensy bit curious about how threesomes and sex parties go down. (Y'all sure are clicking on those stories.)
As it turns out, a lot more people are actually engaging in —and not just reading about— group sex than you'd think, according to a new survey published in Time Out New York 's sex issue . A whopping 31 percent of the New York City residents surveyed said they've had sex with more than one person at a time (phone calls for the total number of people surveyed were not returned by press time).
Of that 31 percent, 48 percent have gotten busy with two people at once, 19 percent have slept with three people at the same time (that would be a foursome, folks), and finally—drum roll, please—33 percent have banged four or more people at a time. We are very, very impressed.
So what's a foursome like? Allow one of the magazine's survey takers, Zack, to explain: "My partner and I have had a handful of threesomes. Recently there was a foursome, which was really fun. We bought a large canvas and had paint sex."
Although these survey results might not apply to your neck of the woods, the percentages seem pretty high — even for New York City.
