This is a nice shower bar and shower head. BUT.. It comes with a really terrible hose. It comes pre-kinked in the package, won't hang flat and looks cheap. If you buy this item you will want to purchase metal hose to use instead. It's an easy fix, but at this price point I would expect better.
nice finish quality, nothing that blows you away though. Be aware the shower head and pole mounting covers are plastic, only the pole is metal. But looks like it will hold up fine. I like the smooth silver hose much better than the metal hose that many handheld showers use.
Works well. I just NOT expecting it to be plastic. Joke is on me, next time read the description very, very carefully. Would I buy it again, probably not. I would rather spend a little more and get a unit that is not plastic.
Bar is set to close to the wall. Have to stand very neat the front of the shower to get covered in the water. Also the hose is to short and the shower head is small. Would not buy again.
As much as I love things made in Germany, this Grohe product fails miserably. The shower head has a cheap feel to it and is very difficult to adjust to the “3” really 2 settings. Worst of all the water pressure is terrible. My home’s water pressure is excellent! Also the previous Grohe shower head worked great. As if this wasn’t enough this came in a box that severely damaged and missing the soap dish!
Bit pasticky but functional and OK priced. Do not use with low water pressure.
Taking the age-old WaterPik off the shower supply and installing this brings the bathtub into this century. Yes Francine, there is a goodly amount of plastic. I've used Grohe for 16 years and the plastic on those items shines As-New. Just don't use steel wool to clean it. Or Comet, or Zud - OK, Stanislaus?

5 year warranty - I've bought loads of Grohe stuff and never had to use the warranty.
It's Grohe! it's not goign to rust - most of their stuff comes with a 5 year warranty and when their valves fail after 10 years of daly use you can call them and send them a picture of your unit. Describe the issue to thier helpdesk. They helpdesk will provide you wtiha part number and you can buy a replacement cartridge fro your valve for about £60 which means that you can fix your valve and that also means you don't have to dstroy your all to remaove the valve. They have really thought about all of their producst which is heartening.

Nice unit - but a bit more clear information is required as the drawings are vague to say the least.
Quite well made kit. The only very slight issue is a) the instructions are not clear - nor are the drawings. b) You may have to use a smaller rawlplug - the one supplied is good, but some walls maybe thinner for this beast to take. Measure it first. At the moment, the head adjustment is quite stiff to turn - maybe that will loosen but I doubt it.

Tanta tanta plastica. Dovrebbe costare molto molto meno. La doccetta emette un getto cadente con poca pressione. Il getto si cambia con una leva piuttosto scomoda e dura. La portata eco di 9.5 l/m e' oltre il limite del bonus risparmio idrico. Il tubo flessibile e' troppo rigido. Il portasapone ha un sostegno che ricopre il supporto cromato. Qualche graffio sulla cromatura. Avevo fiducia nel marchio Grohe, ora totalmente disattesa.
