I hold CTRL through my H scenes, but just looking at some of the dialogue in the beginning, it was clear that they were all different. I was wondering if there was any tidbits of information or story I might have missed by skipping these; for example, in Amane's first scene, it's revealed Yuuji is required to have sex once every 2 months by his job. Anything else?
For my playthrough, I read all of Yumiko and Sachi's scenes, only the first h-scene for Michiru, CTRL-ed through all of Makina's scenes (I don't like loli h-scenes in general), and read all of Amane's scenes (I do like busty onee-sans though).
You're honestly not missing much. Generally, the tidbits of information that are revealed are character insights. As you already mentioned, Amane's scene reveals another background detail about Yuuji's "job". That's really the only big one I think. Other character insights just confirm certain characteristics (for example, Yumiko is revealed to be very submissive and masochistic in bed).
No plot details/developments are revealed during the h-scenes. However, the h-scene may be connected overall to a particular development. Amane's h-scenes in particular are guilty of this.

I swear to god Sachis and michirus were written by the same guy they said the same exact lines at some parts I did then both the same day so I was just like hey wait
I think Makina's second one had some stuff. Everything else was skippable, but Amane's first few were semi-entertaining and semi-readable. The rest were totally skippable.
As a general rule mash LMB/enter to go about 8x normal text speed and stop whenever the ellipsis:word ratio calms down.
I think there's some good development with the h-scenes in Makina, Amane, and Sachi's route. Michiru's h-scenes didn't add much and were kind of misplaced as well. I don't recall any character-related info being in the scenes, though. I skimmed some of the h-scenes in Grisaia, considering how good some of them were
