Grayscale Parent Digital Currency Group Reports $229M Revenue for Q1
Powered by @unfoldedDigital Currency Group (DCG) reported a first-quarter revenue of $229 million, an 11% increase from the previous quarter.
Grayscale, a subsidiary of DCG, accounted for $156 million of the first-quarter revenue, despite heavy redemptions and a reduced management fee.
Other DCG ventures, such as crypto mining pool Foundry and investing platform Luno, saw revenue increases of 35% and 46% respectively.
DCG's first-quarter revenue was up 51% compared to the same period last year, while the price of bitcoin increased by approximately 134%.
