Graphic Design Intern

Simula is a San Francisco ad-tech startup building the future of ads by leveraging AI avatars and characters to turn sh\*\*\*y ads into unique and personalized experiences. We move fast, ship often, and care a lot about making things look REALLY GOOD.
We're looking for a designer who's comfortable with Canva, AI image/video gen tools, and has a great eye for design and creatives that resonate with consumers.
What you'll do
* *Design product elements* and the visuals that make our products feel polished.
* *Build sales materials:* pitch decks, one-pagers, proposals.
* *Design our software*, both internal tools and external-facing products.
* *Create ad proposals for clients*, including concepts for playable ads and animated character ads.
* *Create unique ideas* and visual concepts for unique playable ads.
* *Generate content with AI:* use AI image and video tools to produce creative for advertisers.
* *Find what wins:* analyze how different art styles and creative concepts perform across campaigns, then double down to ship the best-performing ads for clients.
What we're looking for
* A strong eye for design and a portfolio (or projects) that shows it.
* Real comfort with *AI image and video generation tools*.
* Experienced *Canva* skills.
* Curiosity about advertising, mobile apps, and what makes creative convert.
* Scrappy, fast, and excited to work in a startup environment
The logistics
* *Fully remote* - work from wherever. Bay Area folks are welcome at our *SF office*.
* *~15 hrs/week*, flexing up or down with what's on our plate.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per month
