Granny is a survival horror from the first-person perspective that brings you to the weird old house of a crazy evil lady called Granny. All you have is five days to get out of this house, or you will be dead. It was developed by DVloper and released in 2018 for PC. You can download Granny from the Steam store.
Granny is not only a horror game, but it is also a puzzle. You wake up in an old wooden shack with a terrible creature in a nightgown with a baseball bat covered in blood that is called Granny. She hears every step you make, she is faster than you, and she can kill you in different ways
With every new day in this house, you get more injuries and it is getting harder to escape. Granny puts bear traps almost everywhere and is, apparently, way stronger than you. You have to start with exploring the house and its 5 floors with two attics and one garage. The front door is closed and barricaded. To remove all the things from your way, you will have to find several instruments and keys. And remember that Granny hears every step you make on the creaking floorboard, so you have to hide.
Graphics in the game are really atmospheric and scary. Everything around you looks gloomy and painted in 50 shades of brown. The old house with five stores is plenty of unpleasant surprises, including guillotine, creepy child’s cradle, bloody doors, and so on. There are 5 difficulty levels, and while the last is almost impossible to go through, the first one does not have Granny in it. Still, there are lots of traps on your way. You can pick the first level to explore the house. Be careful, you may find something you don’t want to find at all.
Granny is not a free game. It costs $4.99, and this is less than one menu in McDonald’s. For this money, you receive access to the whole game, without any additional in-game purchases needed. Everything is unblocked. Beware! The game contains blood and mild violence, it may be scary and too dark for children. There are age restrictions in the game you have to pass before you can play it. It does not have a multiplayer mode. To download Granny, you need a strong Wifi connection. You have to stay online. Make sure that your computer is fast enough for this game.
Granny is a typical horror game. It may not have the best graphics comparing to similar games like Five Nights At Freddy’s or Hello Neighbor, but it is still gloomy and eye-catching. Granny’s speed and excellent hearing make the game even more interesting to play. With five difficulty levels, you will never get bored there. Start with the easiest one and challenge your skills with every new achievement.
Ok, so this is a great game in my opinion. This game combines puzzle and strategy with horror and I love it. The atmosphere is so good and the nightmare mode is scary.
