'Grandmother' was real mother of 3-year-old found dead in empty house

A case involving a 22-year-old woman who was arrested in the death of her three-year-old daughter who she abandoned after moving out of her home in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, took a 메이저토토사이트  bizarre twist Thursday when it was discovered that her mother, who lived on a lower floor of the building, was the actual biological mother of the girl.

Police suspect the woman and her mother each gave birth to babies around the same time, and the elder woman switched the babies so her baby would be raised by her adult daughter.

Earlier on Feb. 10, the 49-year-old, who is the biological mother of the jailed 22-year-old and the three-year-old ― despite being listed as the latter's grandmother according to the family registry ― reported finding the three-year-old dead in the multi-story building to police.

Officers suspect the girl died of starvation about six months ago after the 22-year-old woman moved out of the home following her divorce, leaving the girl behind alone.

The woman was arrested for abandoning the child and causing her death.

But a DNA test showed the girl's biological mother was not the woman listed as her "mother," but the "grandmother."

However, the older woman claimed, Thursday, she had not given birth to a baby, saying the DNA test was false.

The younger woman told police she had not been aware the babies had been switched. Police are investigating to uncover the truth.

Currently, the whereabouts of the 22-year-old's real daughter are unknown. Police are looking for the missing child and the biological father of the dead girl.
