It seems most people here got it done 10-20 years ago so I don't know exactly what advancements or things have changed. But I got LASIK in 2023, and it's absolutely worth it. The procedure sucks; when they suction your eye down it's not fun and you'll have a nasty ring on your eyeball for a couple weeks.
1.3L since I got it done from a big-name doctor (Asian Eye Hospital, Pune) and opted for the newer procedure which doctor had recommended (Countoura Vision). If you're not short of money, I would recommend getting "bladeless LASIK" as the flap created in the procedure is very minimal and creates least amount of complications.
