Goongrabber privacy policy

Goongrabber is a browser extension for your own self-hosted Goongrabber server. It has no servers of its own, and Elevate Software does not collect, receive or see any of your data.

WHAT IT STORES
The server address, username and password you enter, and the ids of downloads it sent, are kept in your browser's extension storage on your computer. They are never sent to Elevate Software or to anyone else.

WHAT IT SENDS, AND WHERE
Only to the server address you entered, and only when you use it:
• When you press the download button: the address, title and HTML of the page you're on, or, on sites with their own source, the video details the extension read from the page.
• While the popup is open, or while a download you sent is still running: requests for your server's download queue and history.

Your username and password go to that server with each request, as HTTP Basic authentication. Your server keeps a history of the pages you sent it. What it does with them is up to you as its owner.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
No analytics, no tracking, no ads. It doesn't record your browsing history; it reads a page only when you open the extension's popup on it. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.

REMOVING YOUR DATA
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored in your browser. Pages you sent are kept on your own server until you delete them there.

CHANGES
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
