  • The competition should be low.

As I mentioned above, Keyword must be User Search focussed, it means your Keyword must be around user requirement.

Ex: If a user is searching for Laptop repair services, to attract users with the same search query you need to focus on Laptop repair services as main keyword of your content.

But the problem is

There is a lot of content is available online with the main keywords, so you need to select the related keywords around the main keyword to reduce the competition like Laptop screen repair services , Laptop Keyword repair services etc.,

Steps to find good low competition keywords through the Google Search Engine :

  1.  Put the main keyword in the Google search box and click space, it will show related keyword through Auto suggestion features as below.

In the above image, you can observe the other related keywords searched by the user through Google autosuggestion features.

2. After selecting the related keyword you should know the search volume of the keyword. for that, you need to sign in into Google Adword.

  if you don’t have an account, you can create Google Adword account through your Gmail account.

3. Inside Google AdWords account, you will find a free keyword research tool called Google keyword planner like as shown below.

   a. Under find new keywords section, you can get the list of new keyword around your main keyword by entering the main keyword or topic keyword or URL related to your niche.

 b.Under Get search volume and forecasts section, you will find forecast data such as clicks, impressions, ad position and amount required to achieve forecast Ad metrics related to your keyword as shown in below image.

3. Enter your keyword to find a new keyword search box to get the related keywords and their search volumes.

       It will show you a list of all related keywords along all metrics such as search volume, Average CPC, keyword competition and monthly average searches etc., as shown in below video.

Note: Make sure to have Volume above 300

CPC ( Cost Per Click):

It will show the amount you need to pay per click for Google to show your website on top on Google search results for a particular keyword search.

Note: Make you the CPC value is low, the keyword with high CPC value is known as Commercial keyword and it is very difficult to rank for it.

Keyword Competition[Comp]:

It will define How much competition exists for a particular keyword to rank your URL.

Note: Lower the competition, higher the chance to rank the URL fast.

Average Monthly Searches:

It will define average monthly searches for the particular keyword and helps you to select the best keyword.

Note: Make sure to have average monthly searches value between 100 – 1K
