ResnapBot

ReSnap gives every account a personal Google Drive folder synced both ways with the Workstation. There are two ways to work with it — a Telegram Mini App inside the bot, and the real Drive web at drive.google.com. Both show the same files; pick the tool that fits the job.

How sync works

When you sign up we create a private Drive folder and grant editor access to the email you provided. Inside every Workstation that folder is auto-mounted at `C:\Resnap\Workspace\` — no manual "connect Drive" step.

Sync is bidirectional and near-real-time:

From your PC → Workstation: drop a scene into your Drive folder (via Drive Desktop or drive.google.com), and it appears in C:\Resnap\Workspace\ within seconds.
From Workstation → your PC: save a render anywhere under C:\Resnap\Workspace\, and it's on your Drive shortly after.

Sync status is visible on the active-session card and in the stream overlay — green = up to date, blue = transfer in progress.

📁 Drive — the in-bot file manager

Tap 📁 Drive in the main menu to open a Mini App right inside Telegram. It's a full file manager designed for the render workflow.

What you can do:

Browse files with thumbnails and extension badges. Tabs switch between Personal Drive and Team Drive if you're in a team.
Drill into subfolders with a breadcrumb and back button.
Upload via the + button or drag-and-drop. Whole folders work — the structure is preserved on Drive. Up to 100 GB per file. If Telegram backgrounds or the network drops mid-upload, the transfer resumes from where it stopped, no restart.
Rename / Move / Delete single files via the bottom sheet that opens on tap.
Multi-select for batch actions: long-press to enter select mode (or right-click on desktop), tap others to add. Then Delete, Move to..., or Download in the banner.
Inline image preview — tap any PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, AVIF, TIFF, PSD, BMP or TGA card; a full-screen viewer opens. Swipe to flip between images in the folder, tap once to hide chrome, pinch to zoom. EXR opens in Drive web instead.
ZIP download — select multiple files (or a whole folder) and tap Download. The backend packs everything into one archive on the fly and streams it. Up to 500 GB / 50 000 files per archive, folder structure preserved.

Per-file sync pills when you have an active rental:

🟢 ON WS — the file is already on the Workstation, ready to use.
🟡 SYNCING — currently transferring (either direction).
⚪ DRIVE — sitting in Google Drive only; the Workstation will pull it down.

A "Synced to Workstation • Xm ago" banner at the top confirms how fresh the sync state is.

👤 My account → real Google Drive

The Mini App handles quick browse, preview and batch ops. But sometimes you want Google's native UI — share a file with a client, leave comments, see version history, set granular permissions.

For that, 👤 My account → Your Google Drive opens drive.google.com in your browser. Same folder, Google's native features.

If you're in a team, Team Drive appears as a separate link.

Team Drive

When you create a team via 👥 TeamWork, the bot creates a Team_[name]/ folder on the creator's Drive and grants editor access to all team members. The Mini App has separate Personal and Team Drive tabs once you're in a team, and the Workstation mounts both folders.

Renders that should be shared with the team go into the Team folder. Personal work stays in your root.

Auto-cleanup of old files

To keep Drive from growing forever:

Files older than 7 days (by last modification time) are moved to the trash.
Empty subfolders left behind after the sweep are moved to trash too.
After another 7 days in trash, everything is permanently deleted.
During an active rental nothing is touched — files don't disappear while a session is running.
The root folder itself is never touched — otherwise sync would break.

If a file matters long-term, move it out of the ReSnap folder or download it locally.

Common workflows

Starting a project: drop the project folder into your Drive (Drive Desktop or the Mini App). Spin up a Workstation — the folder is already at C:\Resnap\Workspace\ when the session opens.

Quick reference upload: 📁 Drive in the menu → + → pick image → on the Workstation within seconds.

Reviewing a render: 📁 Drive → tap the file → inline preview → swipe through frames. Tap ⋯ → Download or Open in browser for the original.

Sending a render to a client: 👤 My account → Your Google Drive → right-click file in drive.google.com → Share → permissions → copy link.

Cleaning up: 📁 Drive → long-press files → Delete in the banner. They go to Drive Trash; restore within 30 days from drive.google.com if needed.

Limits

Mini App upload: 100 GB per file.
ZIP batch download: 500 GB / 50 000 files per archive.
Auto-cleanup: 7 days idle → trash, +7 days → permanent delete.
Team size: up to 4 people sharing one Team Drive.
Inline image preview: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, AVIF, TIFF, PSD, BMP, TGA. EXR opens in Drive web (HDR, browser can't tone-map).

What still doesn't work

Drag-and-drop into the stream window — no, only via Drive.
File clipboard between your device and the Workstation — text only.
Heavy projects (50 GB+ Houdini scenes) — Drive Desktop on your PC is still the fastest path (parallelized chunked upload). The Mini App is for everything smaller and for quick management.
