Good Modded Minecraft Server Hosting
I am considering setting up a modded server together with 6 friends. I was wondering whether there are any good hosting companies that I could use. I'm thinking of using the curseforge mod pack "create together". I don't think cost is an issue. Anything below or around $20.

I've managed servers on Apex Hosting. My spouse and friends have managed servers using Bisect Hosting. All were successful. You might consider increasing the cpu if you have lag issues. RAM does not always increase performance.
Ram never increases performance. You only need enough RAM not to be below the java garbage collector threshold.
This isn't performance. This isn't performance. The fps won't change if you switch to a similar performance gpus, but a gpu with dx11 support will.
Hosting it yourself is the best.
I set it up on my own. I have an old PC that I'm going to use for the server. Is it possible to run a modpack with these specs?

I have used APEX hosting, but was terminated by them not too long ago due to a billing issue.
Pebble host has the same budget plans if it doesn't mind a shared processor (Many users on a single cpu without any hard thread limit). I pay only 10$ per month for an unlimited 10gb server.
Do you think it could support 7 players using modded? Do you have any tips on how to set up mods?
