I like dealing with Petwellbeing company directly - they are very easy to work with. I ordered Throat Gold to try to help my little 15 year old poodleDackel mix. She suffers from Stridor - and it gets worse when allergy season hits. She is also diabetic taking 2 doses of insulin a day. Firstly, I saw that this product helped soothe her throat and make her breathing a little less harsh. I gave her 2 doses a day. She was sleeping without having a hard time breathing all night - we nicknamed her Mini Darth Vader this past year because that was what she sounded like most of the time. However, I found that after about 4 days of dosing, she seemed to react differently. The only change I implemented in her very strict diabetic routine was the Throat Gold doses. All of a sudden, we couldn't control her blood sugar levels anymore - she was breathing harder and faster, seemed like her heart was going into overdrive- it was totally unpredictable going high to 600's, then at bedtime over the night dropped to 22. She was always within 120-240 range all day. So I stopped dosing her Throat Gold, and mysteriously she was back to "normal" - on her regular insulin doses and curve levels. After another week off it, I thought I would give it another try because it really did help her harsh breathing. I decided to track her levels on a spreadsheet daily this time. Well, today was the 4th day of dosing Throat Goal, and I had to bring my dog to the vet because I couldn't get her level above 60. She went from 483 at midnight dropped to 47 at 7AM. Noontime, after giving her food, treats, yogurt it only rose to 51. After our vet visit and some fluids, her BG was 103. So - after going over my charts and trying to figure out why after 3 years of stable insulin dosing, what was different was adding Throat Gold to her daily routine. She was on a 5 units dose of insulin - she weighs 17 lbs. So we decided to stop Throat Gold now - track her daily routines again on her usual insulin doses to see if she goes back to normal again. I don't know for sure that the Throat Gold caused her glucose level to be erratic, but twice now after 4 days of dosing it. Unfortunately I can't continue to give it to her even tho it really seemed to help with her breathing. Must be ingredients that after a long run use, changes something in her particular condition. Hey, maybe it helps lower her blood glucose level on its own too, but I can't chance that without proven results. At least the insulin dosing has medical confirmation. I would say I think it does help with breathing, but I'm of mind now that long term accumulation of this might be unpredictable. I gave product and company a high rating because the company is good to work with and product seemed to work. But I'm not willing to take a chance on my doggy if long term effects jeopardize her condition. Thank you.
Our 16-year old dog acquired a cough over the past few months. At first we thought it was kennel cough, but when it didn't go away, we thought it might be a collapsed trachea. As her cough became more frequent and created anxiety and many sleepless nights for her and us, I knew we had to find a solution. I saw an advertisement for Throat Gold and saw that it had very good reviews and decided to try it. It took about 4 days to start noticing that she was coughing less. As of today, she has been on it for 1 week, and only coughs once in awhile and for a much shorter time. This is an amazing product and I will continue to use it to make her comfortable. Been using this product for at least three weeks for my Pomeranian. She’s had a cough off and on for years, but it became much worse and different sounding last month. Of course, most likely collapsing trachea. I went from searching for a pharmacy to fill her hydrocodine bitartrate prescription, and giving her other pills the vet provided that weren’t as strong in the meantime, along with giving her these throat gold drops twice a day, to just the throat gold drops twice a day. To now mostly just the throat gold drops once every morning. She is so much better. I have not had to try the hydrocodine yet. Wish I had tried Throat Gold sooner and saved myself a vet bill.

I didn't think I'd see results so soon. Last week my dog was diagnosed with a collapsing trachea after waking up in coughing fits two days in a row. The vet gave me hydrocodone for his cough. He is also on Pimobendan for his heart disease. I expressed my concern about giving him the opioid daily but both his cardiologist and vet said that it's safe. When I asked about alternative, more natural medicines, the cardiologist basically told me they COULD work but she couldn't suggest anything because there isn't enough data/research on the natural products. I am so glad I found throat gold. After a few days on the hydrocodone cough syrup, my little guy just wasn't himself. He would start coughing or honking before it was time for his next dose. He also started involuntarily twitching at times and was trembling more than his normal nervous shaking. As soon as we started the throat gold, he was back to his peppy self. He hasn't coughed since we started using it. Im so grateful!

I foster a small dog that came to me with a chronic cough. They were cleared by the vet not to have anything wrong with their heart or lungs but they still had this daily/all day cough, even in the middle of the night they would wake up at two or 3 AM with a horrible cough, no one got any sleep. I heard about this from a friend with a dog with the same problem. It took about three weeks until I saw an improvement and once they were on these drops daily for 1 month I saw a marked improvement. No more 3 AM coughing fits. And even during the day after some exertion very little coughing if any at all. Excellent product
This stuff is amazing. My little 8 pound chihuahua had a cough. I took him to the vet and they gave him medication for kennel cough. He still was coughing or reverse sneezing. Definitely helped our Jack Russel with collapsing trachea.
After speaking to a vet a couple of months ago, they said that our Jack Russell likely has a collapsing trachea and has had her entire life, so for her whole life occasionally (maybe every 3-5 weeks) she would have an episode of snorting and struggling to breathe and we could never find out why, the vet indirectly dismissed this product and suggested getting her teeth done instead of focusing on the throat, so we went ahead and ordered this and she gets about 10-14 drops per day (your dog should get 2 drops per Kilogram of body weight according to the bottle) and since she has been having this on her food, she hasn't had a single full blown breathing attack, she still does a singl
