The Godin Multiac Series ACS is a marvelous piece of art!. It's not the typical classic guitar, the neck is not as wide as the usual classic guitars. The Honduras mahogany of the neck is blameless and my fingers fly when playing, as smooth as chocolate :) The body is a little bit heavier than I thought, but that's not a problem, it sits on my lap very well. It sounds very well when unplugged, however there is no resonance hence this is a guitar whose purpose of being is concerts and recordings. The sound that comes out of the amp is fabulous and characteristic. Hardware is sturdy. The first days you need to tune it often as the wood settles to your home's temperature and humidity. It comes in a gig bag that is very well done, if it was sold separately it would sell for $100. Lots of cushioning, sturdy and beautiful material. It comes with a foam support for the neck, which can be secured with the provided sturdy Velcro straps. The bag has lots of compartments for the traveling musician, however if you plan to put it in the cargo of a plane, the hardshell case is the best option (which I got). Summarizing, the Godin Multiac Series ACS is an excellent value for money, and the demonstration that in the 21th Century you can (and must) have quality products at an affordable price that are designed and built in North America.

I had one of these a few years ago and sold it for another guitar during a G.A.S. attack - and later regretted it! Amazon had a great price on the guitar so I jumped on it - and this time I won't let it go! These are wonderful guitars - first quality build - pretty, comfortable to play (great neck and action), and a very distinctive voice. I like a wider, flatter, neck that these guitars have; this guitar and my PRS (SE Custom P-90 Semi-hollow body) are perfect in that respect - although its a nylon string, the neck would be very comfortable for most electric guitarists. I primarily play jazz and love the sound of a nylon string guitar. I play through a Marshall Acoustic Soloist - the sound of the guitar is articulate, clean, and rich.

The $663 price on Amazon is 300 to 400 less that anywhere else. It was so cheap that I was skeptical that it was actually the Multiac ACS Slim SA since no model number is listed and there is not much of a description. This is Godin model number 032167. This is the real deal. It arrived in perfect condition a day earlier than expected. Even the gigbag is a high quality item. The guitar is a work of art. I bought it for my husband and he's thrilled with it. As a musician, he could write a better review of its features than I can. I just wanted to clarify the sketchy information provided on this item. Grab it while you can at this unbelievable price.

Excellent guitar for live big gig, small gig, recording. Very happy with it! Our group of musician friends have bought around 10 of this model.

The best so far I have experienced, from sound to comfort holding it!

Best electric guitar

amazing acoustic guitar!!!!! this is my first Godin and also my first electroacoustic with nylon strings, the sound is amazing, the playability will make you think, why you never got one before? is super close to an electric with heavy gauge.

So much for "quality control" at the factory ... the G string pickup was so broken from the factory that the string was essentially inaudible when plugged in. I'll admit that the construction and finish were nice, and it was a comfortable guitar to hold. But this guitar has no acoustic presence - it must be plugged in - and for an electrical component to fail right out of the box was a really bad sign. I returned it, rather than play quality control roulette with another one.

Been playing for over 50 years-yes I'm old. Just purchased this Godin and am more than satisfied. I have 21 guitars, including some high dollar Gibson, Fender and Gretsch guitars and this may be my new favorite. The tone and action of this guitar is just great! This Godin is definitely bang for the buck.

J'adore cette guitare...surtout que j'ai découvert que couplée avec un synthétiseur, c'est super. Pour moi c'est une découverte...jusqu'à maintenant, j'étais fan de guitare acoustique seulement. Je n'ai pas investi de fortune sur un synthétiseur...un Roland GR-33, second évidemment, fait très bien mon affaire

Synth access comes courtesy of the 13-pin connector for direct control of Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synths. Includes gig bag.
