Formulating strict rules and censoring the film scripts to save the image of Goa would not make any difference. What will perhaps make a difference is an awareness that life has many other things to offer and drugs are not the only option? It is a dire need to work towards reducing the demand for drugs and to guide families to not to victimise the addict. Although it is hard to accept that a loved one has fallen into the trap. But the love offered by a family during these hard times can be a saviour. Overall, the political and the community will and commitment will prove a winner in this battle against drugs.
