It's easily my second favourite arc so far with Enies Lobby being number one but honestly I think thriller bark might take that number 1 spot. Enies Lobby is amazing of course but something about it was a bit more predictable imo. Thriller Bark is a fantastic arc with 2 main problems. The first problem is that it feels like an interruption; the crew was heading to Fishman Island, only to encounter Thriller Bark on the way. I feel like this makes the arc feel out of place. The second problem is the anime's pacing, which does drag through the first half of the arc.

Thriller Bark is an underrated arc and had a lot of awesome moments- Nothing Happened is still one of my top three all-time favorite moments from One Piece! Nevertheless, I personally still wouldn't call it a masterpiece.
In Thriller Bark we got introduced with Gecko Moria, Captain John, Hogback, Perona, Ryuma, Absalom, Kuma and more.. And in a typical One Piece fashion, as time goes on we learn more about the characters and their stories. We are currently in Egghead and this ark has touched a lot of Thriller Bark characters that we haven't explored so far.
