Girlfriend is not someone to get just because you feel like it. If fate allows, you will meet someone very special, occupying your thoughts, making you forget what life’s like before meeting her.
A girlfriend also has her own life. She will have her own work, or own circle of friends to hang out with, and hanging out with family once in a while for a vacation and so on.
You are the whole world to it. Even if it found a mate to mate with, that doesn’t mean it will stop loving you as much as it can. It will protect you, offer you a silent comfort, and licking you senseless when you are back.
Of course, the decision is yours, but get a dog first. They are not called man’s best friend for nothing.
