Could you, please, pass me a ponytail holder?
I wish I knew how to be so involved with my art that I don't even notice I'm sick! Where do you find the determination?
Haha, I don't know, I just have really strong focus. I don't multitask as well, but I can focus like a laser. XD
Haha what do you want to know? There's a lot to cover. XP
everything. top to bottom. head to toe. i wanna dra, but I just can't seem to get my own style rolling
Honestly, style isn't something you should worry about. It will happen on it's own. As you learn, you will get better at making things look the way you want them to. Your personal taste will guide you to do things a certain way, and it's a slow development. What you should focus on is the fundamentals, which is learning about lighting, shapes, anatomy, color, depth, etc. The best place to start is sketching from real life on paper with pencil. Once you get to the point where you can draw what you see, you'll have a better idea where you should go from there. It takes years, so study every day at least an hour, more if you can. It's ok to draw from your mind, for fun, without using reference, but when you are trying to improve, study from real life reference. Even if your goal is to do cartoony stuff like I do. I study from real life all the time, and it's the reason I know how to choose colors, use lighting, and create convincing characters. Lots to learn from the real world, and you will improve 10 times faster than if you just try to copy from another artist. Trust me, I know. I ignored this exact advice for about 17 years. When I finally started doing real life studies, my skill improved very fast. This happened over the last 3 years. Best of luck!
