WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER SLEEP NAKED: We know that research is telling you the other way round; Sleeping naked is healthy, your body cools down better, it lets your privates breathe, yadayada. But as a matter of fact, sleeping naked is not among the most comfortable things to do. And if you can’t sleep comfy, what’s the point in sleeping at all? Here we list our five reasons why you should never sleep naked.

WHAT IF THERE’S AN EMERGENCY FIRE OR THEFT? OR MAYBE RELATIVES? The probability of an emergency cannot be ruled out especially when you live in India. There could be faulty wires, an unexpected spark, theft or if not that, relatives (in our country, they may not knock). You would sure be a vision to watch, trying to prioritize between saving life or honour.

WHAT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT’S NOT ACCESSIBLE IN YOUR ROOM? LIKE WATER? OR MID NIGHT SNACKS? If you live alone, no problem there. But if you have home mates and you want to go out in the middle of the night, wearing your clothes with groggy eyes is a super difficult task. Or, let’s say you try to smuggle out your body while tiptoeing in the dark, you would actually feel like a burglar in your own house. Solution? Just wear some clothes when you go to bed.

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- A homeless man was arrested after police say he crawled into a 12-year-old girl’s bed naked and fell asleep beside her. Diego Lara Felix, 28, was taken into custody on Sunday night in Phoenix.
Around 10 a.m., Phoenix police were called out to a home near 63rd Avenue and Thomas Road about a fight. Officers arrived and found Felix naked in a bedroom. The homeowners told police they did not know who Felix was. According to court paperwork, the girl was asleep and woke up to find Felix naked in bed with her. She got up and told her uncle, who woke Felix up and called 911, police said.
According to court documents, the girl told police she woke up when she felt something on her leg and thought it was her cousin. Officers say Felix asked the girl to touch his leg before he fell asleep. In an interview with police, Felix told officers he had “made a mistake” and “if he has to pay for it, he will,” according to court documents. Felix then told police he remembers being at a house on the west side of Phoenix with his friends drinking beers. He said the next thing he remembered was being in the back of a police car and did not remember going into the bed. Officers also found a small bag of cocaine in his pocket. Felix was booked on two counts of indecent exposure and one count of narcotic drug possession.

When it comes to what we each choose to wear to bed, everybody has their own personal preferences. Some people like to sleep in jammies, others simply throw on an old T-shirt and loose underwear, while others will just free-ball it and sleep naked.
There have been a number of small studies which purport to have found all kinds of benefits to sleeping in the nude, including being able to fall asleep faster, stress reduction, healthier skin, and improved overall sleep quality. And on an especially hot night , it's understandable that you'd want to forgo your pyjamas or even your boxer shorts to get as much air on your skin as possible.
But according to surgeon, podcaster and YouTuber Dr. Anthony Youn, there is a pretty compelling scientific argument to be made in favor of keeping your undies on at night. It all comes down to just two words: poop particles.
"The average person passes gas 15 to 25 times a day, and this can happen while you're sleeping," says Youn in a short new video. "And a scientific study proved that every time you pass gas, you are spraying a tiny amount of faecal matter. This is true, even if it's not a real shart. And that same study showed that your tighty-whities will catch all of these particles. So for the sake of your bed partner, please sleep with your underwear on."
So, that's settled. Now we just need Youn to wade into the ongoing socks-in-bed debate .
