Women’s mixed martial arts icon Gina Carano may not being smashing faces in the Octagon anymore, but she has still remained in tip-top shape.
The 38-year-old showed off her incredible body when she posted a classy nude of herself in near-silhouette to her Instagram page that she has since deleted.
Carano, who once fought Cris Cyborg in now-defunct MMA promotion Strikeforce, has transitioned from the cage to the screen with roles in a host of movies and TV shows.
Since retiring from the sport, the former Stikeforce women’s featherweight title challenger has gone on to find success in Hollywood as she has appeared in “Fast and The Furious 6” and most recently having a key role in the ongoing Star Wars: The Mandalorian series.
Carano said in 2019 she was once offered $1 million to fight Ronda Rousey, but says that UFC president Dana White pressured her into accepting the fight, and thus it did not end up happening.
Gina Carano tells @arielhelwani that she was offered $1 million to face Ronda Rousey. She asked UFC brass for the time to build a camp for 6 months and the following day, Carano says Dana White was talking about signing Carano to face Rousey and she felt pressured.
Gina Carano revealed she accidentally received a nasty text message from White during contract negotiations.
Carano then says that she was accidentally sent a nasty text from Dana White that was about her. He eventually apologized for it and the Ronda fight never came into fruition.
Gina Carano’s lone loss in MMA came at the hands of MMA legend Cris Cyborg, who stopped her in the very first round of their highly anticipated Strikeforce title fight in 2009.

Gina Carano Gets Naked on the Scale to Make Weight for EliteXC Fight

We mentioned yesterday that Gina Carano had to go nude to make weight for tonight's fight against Kelly Kobold on EliteXC: Heat, and now we have the visual evidence. It's not extremely unusual for a fighter to have to take off all of his or her clothes and be shielded from the crowd with towels to make weight; I've seen it several times with boxers, including Oscar De La Hoya. But it is particularly noteworthy with Carano, because she missed weight for her last fight and has vowed in recent weeks that it wouldn't happen again this time. It almost did. Carano was 1.75 pounds over the 141-pound limit the first time she stepped on the scale, with her clothes on, and was even over the limit the second time she stepped on the scale, naked. It's not clear what she did the third time that finally did the trick, but she did make weight and the fight will go on tonight. A video of Carano's weigh-in is below.
