This fight is popular for being the first-ever defeat that Gina Carano had since the beginning of her MMA career. Today, Gina Carano is one of the most popular Hollywood stars, having made starred in several movies. Although Gina has been featured in a TV series, Fight Girls as early as 2007, her debut appearance in a movie in the 2009 Blood and Bone film. However, her major film career break came with her lead role in the action movie, Haywire in 2011. Thereafter, she was featured in blockbusters like “Fast and Furious 6” in 2013, and also “Deadpool” in 2016, among her other movie appearances.
