GiantTessa is creating Short Movies, Photographs
Hey, my name is Tessa and I would like to create a series of action-like short films with the help of a few friends and of course with your support :) I like to experiment with effects for After Effects and Photoshop to further my education and so as you can see on my DeviantArt page I have already created some mood pictures for the short film! Now I would like to go one step further and change it to moving image. With your help I would like to create a series action based short film episodes about me as Giantess. We plan to create 5 episodes for the first one, each with a length of about 5 minutes. (The first pilot episode will be about 10 minutes long.)
Here we need your support, because we need the suitable equipment etc.! I already bought most of the equipment by my self like a decent camera (Blackmagic Cinema 2,5K), a green screen and a light set. But I need some additional Stuff like costumes, make up, stock footage, licensed music and additional software We are also happy about donations beyond the goal and could then buy better equipment for the following Episodes. The final episodes will be released later in 2K resolution with 24fps on Youtube/Vimeo. Once all episodes are finished there will be one compilation as short movie, because we would also like to submit it to some short film festivals. We plan to shoot Episode 1 in March and plan to release Episode 1 as fast as possible, because post production is very time-consuming and we want to create a great experience. So we take our time for polishing. The next episodes will follow over time. Me and my friends have a lot of experience with After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop as well as basics in C4D. (Check out our teaser for the look!) The story takes place in a fictional city and is created from a mixture of real footage, stock footage, green screen and 3D material. (But please don't expect Hollywood quality ;P) In the meantime: Until we got everything together, the supporter with the corresponding tier will get more mood pictures, and small previews of the Scenes. The Story: It's about a woman who dreams of being a little taller, because she always has problems with her small size. One day a shady person gives her a remedy to make her taller. A short time later she feels the first changes. The effect occurs, but not just a few inches but several feet! She senses how she keeps growing and bursting out of her apartment. At first she is overwhelmed by the view, but soon she realizes that she is seen by people as a monster and tries to escape from the city. Of course she comes into the crossfire of the military and now has to defend herself somehow, although she doesn't want to do anything bad! Now she has to straighten the situation out somehow. That's the story in a nutshell. You are also welcome to send me suggestions, which I can add to the story.
#Shortgirlproblems Episode 1 My first goal for the production of Episode 1 is to collect donations for additional stuff which is still necessary for the movie. What we also absolutely need for better results is the software Anima Pro. This is a very simple way to simulate crowds of people running away and integrate them into 3D space. Furthermore we need more action stock material to achieve more enjoyable effects. In addition we would like to buy some assets of the ActionVFX. Like the ground breaks so we can make it really crack :) And then there is additional stuff like: -Licenses for music -costumes for me and the actors -props
