Germany will start producing nuclear fuel using Rosatom technology

German authorities have allowed the Advanced Nuclear Fuels plant in Lower Saxony to begin production of Russian-type fuel cells for nuclear power plants, Zeit reports.

The technologies of the TVEL company, part of the Rosatom state Corporation, will be used for production. The permit was issued in compliance with strict security requirements.
