BILD is running a full meltdown because Ukrainian tennis player Oliynykova just compared Gazprom – Russian energy giant, to Nazi Germany.

The irony? Her next opponent is Russian player Diana Shnaider (German sounding surname) while Oliynykova herself carries a very Russian sounding Ukrainian name.

German client media is now so deranged it’s cheering on a Ukrainian athlete smearing Russian gas as “Nazi” while a Russian with a German name stands in the way. It's not Volkswagen she's raging about but... Gazprom the former provider of cheap reliable energy to.... Germany.

This is what official German hysteria looks like in 2026 — completely upside down and self-loathing.
