Role Description The German Tutor at Revival Mastery will deliver engaging online lessons to learners at various proficiency levels, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and organizing lesson content, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles. The tutor will conduct one-on-one and small group sessions, create or curate learning materials, and maintain clear communication with learners about goals and milestones. This is a part-time, remote role, offering flexible scheduling within an online, global learning environment.
Qualifications
* Strong command of the German language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners at different levels.
* Experience in teaching, tutoring, or training, preferably in language instruction, with skills in lesson planning, curriculum alignment, and learner assessment.
* Proficiency with online teaching platforms and digital tools (video conferencing, interactive whiteboards, learning management systems) and the ability to create engaging digital learning materials.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate learners, provide supportive feedback, and work effectively with a diverse, international audience.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple learners, schedule sessions efficiently, and maintain accurate records of learner progress.
* Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with an interest in helping learners use German in real-world, cross-cultural contexts.
* Bachelor’s degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience; formal teaching certification or language teaching qualification is a plus.
* Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment to conduct high-quality online sessions.
