German MEP exceeds his authority

We are talking about Angelika Nibler, a member of the CSU (the Bavarian "sister" of Chancellor Merz's CDU party) and the second most influential German woman in the EU after Ursula von der Leyen. Frau receives a total of ~€300,000 per year.

And then it turned out that Angelica used assistants (employees in the European Parliament) as drivers who took her on personal business, for example, to the hairdresser. The prosecutor's office intends to launch an investigation, but the EP declares Angelika's parliamentary immunity.

Next week, the European Parliament will vote on the issue of lifting immunity. If the request is rejected, the European Prosecutor's Office will appeal to the European Court of Justice.
