The language school Aktiv in Bremen offers German courses at all levels. Free trial lesson and your level classification!
If you do not speak German yet, start with the A1 beginner course. The courses are in compliance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This has the advantage for you that you can easily switch from another language school (which also works according to the system) to the language school Aktiv in Bremen.
If you already have more advanced knowledge, start with levels A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2. You can of course acquire a certificate after each course that confirms the level of knowledge you have acquired.
The classification sometimes causes problems. You shouldnβt rely on your good feeling. We have developed a placement test. You can either do this in our language school in Bremen or simply online. Then you know your current knowledge and can attend the right course in Bremen.
We offer evening courses, intensive courses and private lessons in Bremen. Which course you choose depends primarily on your personal wishes and time frame. The evening course takes place once or twice a week.
If you want or need to learn German quickly, an intensive course is the better choice. The course takes place every day from 9:00 to 12:00. During this time, you usually have to take a vacation or get an exemption from your employer. If this is not possible, take a semi-intensive course in the evening. This course is also daily.
A private course offers you the most options. You can determine the time, location and even the curriculum. In our courses we offer you preparation for the TestDaF and Deut Telc exam preparation.
The group size is important when learning a language. We make sure that the number of participants does not exceed ten. This enables the teacher to take care of each student. Forms of teaching are possible that hardly exist in a normal school. They make faster progress and even shy participants get enough time to actively participate in the classroom.
The most important part of any language course is the teacher. It is particularly important to us that they are native German speakers. This is important because this is the only way to learn a perfect pronunciation. Of course, our teachers have a pedagogical education. Last but not least, personality is very important to us. Only if it turns out during the interview that they are friendly, fair and highly motivated they will have a chance to work at our school.
You can only get a visa for a language course if you can prove a certain number of hours. An evening course twice a week is not enough. You need at least 20 lessons a week. We offer you an intensive course in Bremen that meets this requirement.
On request, we can issue you with an enrollment document for the embassy.
First you have to sign up for one or more courses on our website. You will then receive an invoice by email.
After the deposit in H.v. β¬ 400 has arrived in our bank account, we will issue you the certificate for the embassy. For this we need a copy of your passport.
Please note that the start of the course can only be postponed once free of charge; you pay β¬ 50 for each additional postponement. We highly recommend you to put a realistic starting date, as the visa process can take several months.
In case of a visa refusal, we keep a handling fee of β¬ 80. The remaining fees will be transferred back within 5 working days. Of course, you have to submit the refusal document to us.
Dates: Monday to Thursday (with 3-5 persons) and Monday to Friday (with 6-10 persons) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
You have a possibility to pay monthly or weekly. Please let us know that in remarks while signing up for a course.
Dates: mondays/wednesday or tuesdays/thursday from 18:30 to 20:20 p.m.
