Gemma Atkinson, 36, has spoken out after someone created an account using her name on Instagram and attempted to charge fans money for a supposed OnlyFans profile. The Strictly Come Dancing star warned people not to be duped by the catfish, as she said “don’t be paying anyone” for the non-exsistent saucy clips or photos of her, as the fake profile does not exist.
Gemma said in view of her 1.6 million followers: “Apparently there’s an account on here pretending to be me and it’s asking people for money for an OnlyFans.
“I haven’t got an OnlyFans, if I did it would be just dogs and food.
“You won’t get your money's worth so don’t be paying anyone on here. It’s not me,” she added.
OnlyFans is a content subscription service based in London where content creators can earn money from users, who subscribe to their content.
It allows content creators to receive funding directly from their fans on a monthly basis, as well as one-time tips and the pay-per-view feature.
Many celebrities have turned to using the website to share sexy photos and clips.
Stars thought to be on the site include rapper Cardi B, actor Ansel Elgort, and Love Island’s Megan Barton Hanson.
Gemma gave the impassioned plea while she relaxed at home in her kitchen, wearing gym wear.
The star looked fresh-faced with minimal make up and her hair in a high ponytail.
Gemma is engaged to fitness fan and Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez, 30.
The couple are parents to daughter Mia Louise Marquez, 19 months.
They often post their home workouts online, but Gemma admitted she is looking forward to returning to the gym once lockdown ends.
Gemma posted a throwback video of a gruelling fitness routine involving her holding heavy weights, while walking around the gym with her personal trainer.
She shared: “Walking into Monday like... Can’t wait to get back on my weekly sessions with Evil Steve.
“We have a gym at home which I love! It’s my favourite room in the house, BUT training @upfitnesslive twice a week keeps me that bit more motivated.
“Being accountable to Steve as well as myself keeps me smashing my personal best’s,” she added.
The ex-Hollyoaks star also admitted to missing being around “other people” after a third national lockdown took socialising off the agenda.
She continued: “I also love the atmosphere of being around other people all wanting to better themselves.
“I guess I’m kinda like a child being left to do homework alone or being supervised and doing it loads better!
“Ps. Steve’s great advice to me of, ‘You have to walk with your eyes open’. I’ll bare that in mind next time.”

Steph McGovern took the bold move of stripping naked on the set of her Channel 4 show Steph's Packed Lunch on Friday, as the star discussed naturism.
The presenter, 38, and her guests Gemma Atkinson, 36, and politician Alan Johnson , 70, were among those who peeled off their garments in the Leeds studio.
Comedian Luke Kempner read the One O'Clock Views without his clothes on, while John Whaite also took on the role of serving as the resident naked chef and gardener Michael Perry stepped out clothing-free on Leeds Dock.
Skin is in: (L-R) Luke Kempner, Steph McGovern, Gemma Atkinson and Alan Johnson stripped naked during Friday's instalment of Channel 4 daytime show Steph's Packed Lunch
The moment was only fleeting in each case for viewers, as McGovern, Atkinson and Johnson were seen sitting on chairs naked, with strategically cushions shielding their modesty, as the show cut to a commercial break.
Steph also sat down for an interview with Stephanie McManus, who spoke about the tough journey she endured on the road to embracing naturism.
McManus said: 'I haven't had any negative comments at all, because who I'm being when I'm talking about it is I'm being powerful, I'm being empowering, I'm being liberating. And people see that.
'They feel that and they're just amazed and so happy for me because they've seen the struggles I've been through with my anorexia, my binge eating disorder, even struggling through bodybuilding.

New Views: During the episode, comedian Luke Kempner read the One O'Clock Views nude
'So I'm just a completely different person and they're in love with that, to the point where my mother has framed a photo of me naked and put it on her wall, which the last person I thought would really embrace my nudity.'
Back in February, McGovern admitted she told a cheeky lie about having live TV experience to get a job on BBC Breakfast.
The TV personality joined the morning show in 2010 and stayed until she left to work with Channel 4 in 2019.
Revealing her fib on Steph's Packed Lunch, she explained that she didn't tell her employers until 10 seconds before going on air for the first time.
Speaking candidly, Steph told guest Chris Kamara: 'I remember when I got the job of presenting Breakfast news, I'd been asked, "Have you ever done live TV before?" And I said yes… and I hadn't.'
Look! The hilarious moment to close Friday's show took many viewers of the show by surprise
Leopard is still the coolest print in town, so we were delighted when Steph McGovern brought something a little different to our attention.
For her show, Steph's Packed Lunch, the presenter beat the style blues in a beautiful blouse by Mercy Delta, styled by Tess Wright.
Combining a floaty fit and azure colourway, this piece would take its wearer from desk-to-dinner with ease. It’s safe to say we love everything about it!

Lockdown: Steph and her guests discussed the rising popularity of naturism during lockdown
Cheeky! In February, Steph admitted she told a lie about having live TV experience to get a job on BBC Breakfast back in 2010 (pictured when she announced her pregnancy on the show)
Laughing off the white lie, she added: 'You've got to blag it sometimes in life and I told them 10 seconds before we went to air.'
Steph explained that her first time on air for the show was with Susanna Reid, with it being a big shock to the director when she made the revelation.
'I've got a count in my ear now and it was a bit like this… Susanna Reid said "Good luck" and I said "Thanks", she said, "But you've done live TV before?"
'And I said, "No I haven't" and the director gasped in my ear', Steph admitted.
Since working on BBC Breakfast, Steph as appeared on several shows including Shop Well For Less, Have I Got News For You and Watchdog.
The journalist is now hosting her own daytime show – Steph's Packed Lunch – which sees her chat to a range of stars.
