The legendary trait of the Gemini—having two minds—has a dark side. This version of Gemini is an evil genius with many mercurial gifts. Who hasn't known a Gemini that keeps them in stitches? Yet there are extremes when the ultra-active Gemini mind is disturbed, going as far as paranoia and sociopathic traits.

Dictionary.com describes a sociopath as "a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience." This detachment from feelings is a gateway to evildoing.

More garden-variety sociopathic traits can be stirred up if the Gemini is exposed to a callous, desensitized culture. Gemini's dark side can seem in vogue considering dominant themes in society: celebrity gossip, dirty tricks in business and politics, the superficial over the substantial, short-term gratification over long-term achievement. The wise Gemini learns from these traps and puts that brilliance to work for higher purposes.

God, did he ever pay attention to anything? Maybe it’s just because he was an Aquarius and they can be aloof, no. He just didn’t care). That happens just as you wrap up your next sentence and I respond with just enough wit to seem as if I was engaged the whole entire time. Little do you know, I’ve been drawing connections based off of key words and I have already figured out who you didn’t go with and why my ex was such a dick. Any and everything can preoccuppy and distract us. We are in with you and out with you. Interrupting our own trains of thought with a new discovery or idea. It is a ton of fun. Like the concept map, we start with an initial idea and then branch off into everything connected to it.
My Gemini niece one day was playing on a kind of crappy tablet. I set my iPad down and she had an idea. In the blink of an eye she handed the crap tablet to her sister and said “here, you can have it”. I was thinking to myself. “Weird, how generous…” as she shockingly jumped on my bed, grabbed my iPad and had me unlock it. So premeditated. She processed the action, benefits and executed this in a matter of seconds.
You never know what we are thinking, you never know where we really are. Before a flash of emotion can show we are back in the loop with you, ready to continue on with you. Just be hyper aware. Our mission is to gather as much information as possible (hence the childlike inquisitive nature), make sense of it, connect it and COMMUNICATE IT. There is no shying away from true nature. It takes a lot to keep up. But it makes us a spontaneous bunch of fun.
