I have been vaping since well before vaping was cool (or anyone even knew it was a thing). I have used several different mods over the years- some better than others, and some more reliable. My son bought me an earlier version of the aegis mod about 3-4 years ago, and I would still be using it if the threads on that older model had not stripped on the battery door. I am retired and vape all day long every day so my box mods take a beating. This new version of the Aegis Solo seems solid, and the charge port is much easier to access (and the manufacturer even provides a spare in case you wear it out plus a pry bar to open your battery door if it becomes difficult to open). I like the look and feel, the controls, the ease of setting the controls and the fact that it if it is as well coated as my older one (and it appears to be), it will still look good several years down the road.
Been using the AEGIS SOLO 100Ws for over 5 years on a daily bases and this is the only one out of the 4 that I have that have given me an issue. I have to tighten the battery cap with pliers really tight or it won't make connection with the battery properly. I've tried several new batteries and other tanks but same result. I think I just got a bad one. Oh well I'll get another one. These things are tough and durable and really work without flaw so I just got a bad one.

I bought 2 of these from a different site over 2 years ago and they are still working great. I wanted a 3rd one and grabbed one here. I love these and they are the perfect fit for my hand.
