Somebody today told me that "the overwhelming majority of cis gay/bi men would not date a trans man." Is this true? Cisgender & Cis Cisgender (often shortened to cis) describes someone whose gender identity matches the sex they had or were identified as having at birth. Most people can be described as cisgender. If the pronouncement your mom heard at your birth—It's a girl! or It's a boy!—still feels like it was accurate, then you're cisgender.
Same here! Trans man who lucked out and found an amazing cis male partner. We're gay as fuck, fish together a lot, make electronic music together, and are engaged now. It's not without its difficulties of course, like in any relationship with two people at different axes of oppression.

I followed a cis gay friend on tiktok, he would explain how he was sad he couldn't impregnate his male partner. My other close irl cis gay friend telling me he would dream of impregnating his male partners, and so on. Not to mention there are literal cis gay men out there who willingly impregnate women just because they feel the need to.
