After having appeared in about 140 movies, Gauge left the pornographic film industry in 2005 [3] due to a contract dispute with her management company. [2] She was certified as a surgical technologist , [3] but she reported that she was often turned down for jobs because of her adult film career. She retrained as a makeup artist, but suffered similar issues. [2]

While Gauge was studying to become a surgical technician, an anesthesia student recognized Gauge from her adult film career, word quickly spread through the hospital staff that there was a porn star among their ranks, and, when Gauge was set to graduate, she said that no one at the unnamed hospital would sign off on her required hours. [3] Gauge has also claimed that while "working at a hospital" that her "boss hit on her", and she was unable to convince the hospital's complaints department that the incident happened, so she ended up giving her notice. [4]

I can't put the word "horny" in the title without Youtube getting very grumpy with me, so just infer that it's supposed to say it there.

I love a good video essay now and then. The only thing I love more than a good video essay is a terrible one.

Considering - regardless of the content - video essays make BANK, I wanted to give a go making a joke of an essay that ticks every single one of those essay cliches.

Unfortunately after 2 minutes I ran out of jokes and just ended up making an actually educational and helpful video about writing exposition. Which is kinda funny. A cliche of bad video essays is that by the end of the video you look back and go "wow that was 30 minutes and I don't think I learned anything valuable."

If you find that you have gained any knowledge about film or feel like you've learned anything at all from this video, I'm sorry and I want to make it clear that that was not my intention.
