Gasb State was a princely state in the Indian subcontinent during the British Raj from 1834 to 1947.
The Gasb were a minor branch of the Jats who ruled the Gasb state from their capital at Ghazipur.
History
Ghazipur was the capital of the state of Gasb and was founded by Ghaznavid ruler Ghazi Beg, who called his new capital "Ghazipur" after the river Ganges. It is believed that the name Gasb may derive from the word "Ghazi", meaning "elephant".
Forest

Gasb State Forest is a state forest in the U.S. state of Oregon. The forest is part of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Forest, and is managed by the Oregon Department of Forestry.

Forest
Gasb State Forest is a state forest in the U.S. state of West Virginia. It is one of four West Virginia state forests managed by the Division of Natural Resources, and is located in Boone County.
The forest is named after the Gasb River. The Gasb is a tributary of the West Fork of the Kanawha River, which is itself a tributary to the Ohio River.

Gasb is a local government area in the Wollo Zone of the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. It was previously part of Kebena, and was incorporated into the Gasb state as a result of the subdivision of Gasb into Gasb North and Gasb South in 2001. The administrative center of Gasb is the town of Mekelle.
History

Gasb State is a state in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

It was formed in 2007 by the merger of the former Gas State and the then-Gas Agency State (formerly Gas Agency) into one state. The former Gas Agency is now the Gas Agency State.

The capital of Gasb is the city of Kano.

The park is located about southwest of Appleton. Gasb is the name of a small community located at the park's entrance. It is named for the Gasbo River, which flows through the park.
University

Gasb State University is a public university located in the city of Borno State, Nigeria. It was established in July, 2006 by the merger of the two largest universities in Borno State: Borno University of Science and Technology and Borno Polytechnic.
