Gaming facility in Pinewood Park Drive, North Bay,
Nearly two years after the first opening day, the facility is finally ready.
In a recent interview, Rob Mitchell, director of communications at Gateway Casino & Entertainment, said things are almost back to normal. He also pointed out that due to the latest health and safety in the province, casino customers will not have to present vaccination certificates when they attend. But masks will still be a necessity, he says.
Mr Mitchell said the company was finally looking to cross the finish line and launch casino properties, despite the unprecedented situation and everything thereafter. The facility is located on Pinewood Park Drive and spans 39,000 square feet and features over 300 slot machines, six roulette, live table games on blackjack and 10 electronic table games.
The spokesman also noted that the game leader is very happy and excited about the launch of Game Amenity in North Bay. He added that the casino will also come with the company's trademark Match Restaurant and Public House, which will make it the fourth restaurant from a local brand. There is currently one in real estate in Hanover, Chatham and Point Edwards.
According to Mitchell, the new property will also have a lot of live entertainment because of its large, open terrace. According to him, customers will be able to enter the restaurant freely and go further to the game room. The "Summit Bar" will also operate the entire length of the game floor. And finally, he said the company believes the property will be warmly received by locals.
a job fair in December
In December last year, Gateway Casino & Entertainment held a two-week job fair to attract more employees for the grand opening of Cascade Casino North Bay. According to the company, the newly constructed building needed 200 more employees for various positions. Therefore, the total number of employees is about 300.
