Kongregate just let us know that Local Saves in Crush Crush will be deleted Nov 13. This is due to updates/improvements to their site and security to make sure they’re keeping up with modern browsers.
Just make sure you do a CLOUD SAVE by logging into your Kong account and clicking ‘ SAVE GAME ’ on the MORE page, and then loading that once Kongregate transitions to HTTPS on Nov 13. Your save file should be fine if you do that.

To some people who play Crush Crush elsewhere this update might be nothing new… but if you haven’t met them already, Nutaku-chan, Dark One, and QPernikiss are now on Kong!
New Features
- THREE new girls added, with crazy different requirements.
-Final cutscenes.
-Music changes (for dramatic impact!)
-End Credits
-Updated the Stats page to have icons represented with the stats (easier to identify requirements this way)
-New settings to skip girl introductions and affection popups (check the Settings dialog on the More page)
-New achievements for the different Outro choices and for reset boosts
Bug Fixes
-Fixed achievement icon issues.
-Fixed typos.
-Improved asset bundles and loading intros.
-Added in some text that was missing.
-Re-wrote the way in which hobby progression is computed, which will fix many issues people had with online progress calculation. You should now find the hobby progress will work correctly even when your reset boost/purchased boost are low, and even when online.
-Fixed a couple of places that null reference exceptions could occur.
-Reset the number of assets that need to be loaded/have loaded so that you don’t get ever increasing numbers on the loading screen.

So we’ve got a small update today, but some big news to share, so you should probably read at least 80% of this post. Do it!
This week is actually Crush Crush’s 1 year anniversary! It’s been a whole year since we launched our little game on the internet and started this fun and flirty journey.
In celebration of this auspicious occasion, we’ve got a big update ALMOST ready that’s going to rock your socks! That update will have:
-2 new girls, whose fates will determine the ending of the Crush Crush storyline!
-A saucy formerly-Nutaku-exclusive girl who will be added for everyone to enjoy!
-Other stuff!
It’s been a crazy year, and the Sad Panda team has lots of stuff planned for the next 365 days that we hope you’ll join us for. In the meantime, we’re doing a quick update today with a fancy Valentine’s Day sale to get the build ready for the big show-stopping number coming up soon.
-fixed several typos
-fixed issues with asset bundling
-outfit sets bundled with different diamond tiers in the store (unlocks outfits of that type for all girls)
-new girls added, but can’t be unlocked quite yet. They’ll show up within the next week or so.
-fixed lots of misc bugs
Keep an eye out for our next update, and make sure to let us know what you think of the storyline, and where you think Crush Crush and Sad Panda should go next.

Hey everyone, it’s your favorite kind of update today – new ladies! In fact, we have two for you. TWICE AS MANY AS USUAL !
We’re pleased to introduce Karma and Sutra – two lovely ladies who have sought you out for an important quest. This update also contains a bit more story than usual, continuing the saga of the Dark Portal, as Crush Crush approaches its final end game. There’s a few more twists and turns in store. Whoa nelly!

Hey everyone! Holy smokes, we have quite the update for Kongregate today. This update bring Kongregate totally up to date with our other builds. This took longer than we liked because of the divergence of our web builds, and our wish to continue to support old Kongregate saves.
You should find that you are once again able to save to both save slots (yay!). Also, most of the issues with asset bundling and dynamic loading should now be fixed. We’ve also added a new girl to the game, which we hope you enjoy.
Hopefully you enjoy this update as much as we enjoyed working on it. It will be easier to keep Kongregate up to date going forward, since we’ve put the work in to resolve the differences between our different builds. Thanks for your patience!

That makes perfect sense!! I'll have to think about how it could all work, but that is an interesting design choice. I want to avoid making the systems too complex but there might be a way to do what you're suggesting quite easily (visually). That's a really neat idea, I'm gonna keep pondering it ^_^ Thank you so much for sharing it with us! p.s. sorry hobbies take so long!!!

Oji Panda (designer) here. Yes, you are at the short term "end wall". Every girl we add will increase the rate at which you progress through the game. We'd like to add them before we tinker too much with the overall balance.
