Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-inch springform pan with nonstick cooking spray.

For the crust: Place the pistachios, sugar and salt in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse to roughly chop. Add the graham crackers and pulse until finely chopped. Add the melted butter and pulse until the mixture has the consistency of wet sand. Press the mixture evenly over the bottom of the springform pan. Bake until golden brown around the edges, about 12 minutes. Cool to room temperature.

For the filling: Place the chopped chocolate in a medium bowl. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the cream, vanilla and salt until just beginning to simmer around the edges. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, let sit for 2 minutes, and then whisk until smooth and shiny. Pour the chocolate filling over the crust and sprinkle with the chopped apricots. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until ready to serve.

Serve with whipped cream if desired.

White Chocolate Pistachio Cherry Fudge

This crust was very tasty! I used my rectangle tart pan but I had to really press the crust in to the sides. I only did half the ganache because the tart pan is lower than a springform and it worked great!

Amazing everyone loves it. I get a lot of requests to make this tart.

This was absolutely delicious and a huge hit with both adults and children alike. I used roasted/salted/shelled pistachios for convenience and had a 10 inch springform pan, so I increased the crust ingredients by 1.5 (except salt) and used 12 oz chocolate and 2 cups cream for the fudge. I topped with a ring of whole strawberries and sprinkled some pistachios in the center after chilling for about an hour, and the consistency was perfect after dinner (about 5 hours in the fridge). Will definitely make this again!

Although it was easy to make, looked pretty, and came out of the pan beautifully, we thought it had a weird, somewhat unpleasant taste. The combination of graham crackers and pistachios in the crust was strange, and the filling had an off taste. I would not make this again or recommend it.

If you put fresh raspberries, rather than dried fruit, for sure this would impact the filling.

I had read reviews and the chocolate/cream ratio did seem off so I used 12 oz of chocolate and it was wonderful. It can be kept in the refrigerator for a long time

I also made this for a dinner party this past weekend it turned out really well! Everyone thought it looked so professional that I had bought instead of made it. I followed the recipe exactly as written it came out perfectly. I let it set up overnight. I didn't check it after 4 hours, so I don't know how firm it was at that point. As another reviewer had said, I also don't like apricots, so I substituted strawberries, but I waited until the next day to add them, for fear they would sink. My dinner party was a 7 course meal with complicated dishes. This was probably the simplest thing I made and yet a big hit!

I did improvise a little because I was using what I had on hand but the basis of this recipe is so great that you can really make it your own by making small changes. (chocolate wafer cookies for the crust, for example)
I did use way more chocolate than called for and cut the cream in half which made it set pretty fast, I thought.
Also not a fan of apricots at all so used some gorgeous blackberries from the farmers' market and it looked like a WOW dessert!
~ one note ~ the video shows Giada adding the vanilla and salt after she takes the cream off the heat but the written directions say to add them all together over the heat. I don't know if it matters but I did it her way.
It turned out so great my daughter wants it for her next birthday cake.

Super easy, super good. The apricots won't sink if you let it set up in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. I used 12 oz of chocolate. Love this recipe

Delizioso! I made this for a dinner party last night and received rave reviews. I followed Giada's instructions to a "t" using the recommended cream and chocolate ratio and it set up beautifully in just under four hours. I can't wait to make this for more guests at Christmas!

I reduced the amount of cream to 1 1/4 cups and used 60% Ghirardelli chocolate. It firmed up after 4 hours and was delicious. Loved by all.

Driver vigilance estimation is an important task for transportation safety. Wearable and portable brain-computer interface devices provide a powerful means for real-time monitoring of the vigilance level of drivers to help with avoiding distracted or impaired driving. In this paper, we propose a novel multimodal architecture for in-vehicle vigilance estimation from Electroencephalogram and Electrooculogram. To enable the system to focus on the most salient parts of the learned multimodal representations, we propose an architecture composed of a capsule attention mechanism following a deep Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network. Our model learns hierarchical dependencies in the data through the LSTM and capsule feature representation layers. To better explore the discriminative ability of the learned representations, we study the effect of the proposed capsule attention mechanism including the number of dynamic routing iterations as well as other parameters. Experiments show the robustness of our method by outperforming other solutions and baseline techniques, setting a new state-of-the-art. We then provide an analysis on different frequency bands and brain regions to evaluate their suitability for driver vigilance estimation. Lastly, an analysis on the role of capsule attention, multimodality, and robustness to noise is performed, highlighting the advantages of our approach.
