Mouse and Keyboard are not working in ASUS BIOS

Just got my computer running and my ASUS BIOS pops right up on my screen. So far so good right? Well I plug in my keyboard and mouse (both USB) and they do not do anything. The mouse pointer won't move from right in the center of the screen and the keyboard doesn't appear to have any effect.
My PC Build is here (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bfchwP)
The BIOS is actively showing my CPU and CHA1 fan speeds, tracking CPU temp, MB temp, CPU voltage, recognizes my DRAM, etc.

What bothers me is that the SATA Info shows a P1 as blank then P2: Disk Drive, P3: HDD, P4: SSD.
In my boot order it goes Disk Drive, HDD and doesn't even show my SSD.

I can't look into getting my SSD higher on (or even on at all) my boot order until I can get the mouse to... mouse around I guess.

If you guys have any ideas on fixing this please help me out here.
I'm tempted to throw in my Windows disk and just load the OS but if the problem persists or it forces me to load the OS to the HDD I'd be pretty screwed.
Very good Those are the PS/2 ports
Plug the mouse and keyboard into USB 2 slots, and boot to BIOS and see if they work, if not look in the BIOS for USB on Boot and be sure it's enabled. Also check in the BIOS for Hard drive type, it may be showing as IDE - change to AHCI Also let us know what mobo and CPU - may need a BIOS update
The SATA ports on the motherboard should be numbered. You want to connect the cables so the SSD is in the lowest numbered port, the HDD in the next lowest, etc.

The boot order will be determined by which devices the BIOS finds a bootable disk on going from lowest to highest numbered ports. After the SSD is made bootable it should show in the boot order.
I can't look in the BIOS to turn on USB on boot because I have no way to interact with the BIOS.
Tried the Front panel USB ports? Does the mobo have PS/2 ports?
I had to dig up an old school mouse with the circular connector. It let me turn on USB on boot
Very good Those are the PS/2 ports
