GALA 2022: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM Saturday April 9th 9pm-1am | pembroke field
CCB cordially invites you to Gala 2022 — Brown’s only campus-wide spring formal open to all undergraduates.

The official theme of our 2022 Gala is 💐🧚♀️ “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” 🧚♀️💐
Gala will be FREE for all attendees who have registered via Eventbrite. This event will be restricted to Brown undergraduate students to abide by COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Due to event safety and capacity, we are now requiring ticket registration and a current physical Brown ID for entry to Gala. Ticket registration MUST match the name on the physical Brown ID and students will NOT be allowed entry into the venue without both documents.
SENIORS: ticket registration will be released to only seniors at noon on Thursday, March 24th
JUNIORS, SOPHOMORES, FIRST-YEARS: ticket registration link will be released at noon on Friday, March 25th
The ticket registration will be live until the day of the event or until we reach capacity.
All attendees need proof of vaccination. Based on the current University guidelines, mask wearing will be optional for this event.

Gala 2022 is free for everyone, however, attendees must register for a ticket via Eventbrite due to the limited capacity of our tent. Attendees will be let in provided that they bring a physical copy of their Brown ID as proof of their status as a Brown student and their ticket.
What’s the maximum capacity, and what happens if we exceed capacity?
The maximum capacity is 2100 at any given time. Event Support Services will help us manage crowd control
Unfortunately, non-Brown students will not be able to attend Gala 2022 due to the venue capacity and current COVID-19 guidelines.
Based on the current University guidelines, mask wearing will be optional for this event.
Gala attendees may bring bags in at their own risk. There will be no official places to store bags, though coat racks will be provided for attendees to hang their coats at their own risk. Event Support Services will be present to check all bags. Prohibited items include but are not limited to outside alcohol, drink containers and weapons.
OGP will be playing at Gala from 10:30-11:30pm. CCB is also hiring a professional DJ to provide musical entertainment for the remainder of the night. Click here for the song suggestion form for DJ Pauly Danger!
What will an outdoors Gala on Pembroke Field look like?
We will have hard flooring for the dance floor. A tent will be set up with heaters to accommodate various forms of weather.
Gala is black-tie optional so come as you are comfortable! Below are some resources for affordable clothing.
CLOTHING DRIVE AND DONATION OPPORTUNITY:
CCB is partnering with the online platform Thrifthouse to provide formal and semi-formal items for affordable prices.
Due to the upcoming weather conditions, we are rescheduling our pop-up event to after Spring Break. When we return from break, we’ll be announcing where and when you’ll be able to view our available thrifted clothing before purchasing them on Thrifthouse.
If you have any semi-formal or formal attire you’d like to donate, we will also be accepting those during our pop-up event!
