🦊GUIDE FLASH RECOVERY (ORANGEFOX) ⚡🌐
❗🖥️⚡ If you already have ADB and FASTBOOT drivers natively installed on your PC, skip to step 5.
1. Download platform-tools:
Download here, and extrat it
skip this if you already have it
2. Download the recovery.zip
3. Extract the recovery.zip
❗After extract paste extracted files into your platform-tools folder.
4. Open CMD in the platform-tools directory
Read how to use PLATFORM-TOOLS
5. Connect your phone to PC
❗ Your phone must be in FASTBOOT MODE
6. Run this commands, one by one:
If you use PLATFORM-TOOLS:
Fastboot devices
Then press enter
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Then press enter
Fastboot reboot recovery
Then press enter
If you have Drivers installed Natively:
Fastboot devices
Then press enter
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
recovery.img: Here you need to drag "recovery.img" file extracted from Orangefox download and paste into CMD
Then press enter
Fastboot reboot recovery
Then press enter
7. Done ✅
NOTES AND ISSUES :
⚡🦊 You are in recovery orangefox now, you can back up partitions or skip to flash your first ROM.✅
⚡🦊 If you lose access to OrangeFox, simply go to fastboot and follow the same steps ✅
⚡🦊 Flashing orangefox.zip (without extracting) is optional but recommended after booting into ofox for the first time. ✅
❓🦊 Touch screen not working: If the touch screen isn't working, try using the volume down and volume up buttons, this problem is new and I don't know why this manifests, it is believed that it will be fixed soon, the temporary solution is to flash old ROM using FASTBOOT ir try vol buttons.
