GPS Map Camera: Geo Timestamp — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

GPS Map Camera: Geo Timestamp ("the app") is a camera that adds a stamp with the location, map, date and time to your photos. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. It contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We have no servers that receive your photos or your location.

Camera

The app uses the camera to take photos, and only after you allow it. Photos are saved to your phone's gallery (DCIM / GPS Map Camera Geo) and are never uploaded by the app.

Location

The app uses your location, only after you allow it and only while you use it, to print the address, coordinates and map on the photo stamp and to write the coordinates into the photo's data (EXIF), as geotagged cameras do.

• Address: your coordinates are turned into an address by your phone's

built-in geocoding service (on Android, provided by Google as part of the operating system).

• Map thumbnail: the small map on the stamp is shown with the Google Maps SDK,

which receives the map area to display. Google's Privacy Policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy The app itself does not store your location history and does not send your location to us or to anyone else.

Data that stays on your device

• Settings, stamp texts (note, name, contact number), manual locations, folders

and file-name settings are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

• A list of recent photos (for the in-app preview) is kept on your device only.
• Photos are shared only when you choose to do so through your device's share sheet.

Purchases

The Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The store tells the app only whether Pro has been purchased.

Children

The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
