"GODS" has accumulated more than 17 million views
The theme song was accompanied by global artist New Jeans, whose music video topped YouTube's real-time popular video in Korea on the day ▲ was released, and ▲ recorded about 7.8 million global views on YouTube in a day, breaking the record that the existing World Championship theme songs achieved within 24 hours after their release. The video has accumulated 17 million views on YouTube as of the 10th.
The music was also streamed more than 2.6 million times in a day on Spotify, setting a new record for streaming on the first day of release among all the theme songs. The YouTube Premier, which was held at the same time as the release, attracted about 117,000 maximum simultaneous users.
"GODS" is a song that combines New Jeans' powerful vocals and the emotions of the LoL World Championship theme song. The music video contains the career of "Deft" Kim Hyuk-kyu (hereinafter referred to as Deft) and the last LoL World Championship challenge that created the phrase "the important thing is the unbroken heart."
