"GLITTER FINANCE". A GAME-CHANGING PROJECT BY DAVID DOBROVITSKY

"We are project with big ideas , but we understand that it takes more than just good intentions to make things happen"

♦️A little about David and his background before Glitter Finance.

I am a serial entrepreneur and former CEO of BTCD Ltd, a blockchain marketing and incubator in London, UK. I was also a CBDO of a major blockchain marketing and development company, and founder and co-founder of two other successful DeFi projects. I Further worked as a core team member in infrastructure and agriculture,  Algorand project, as well as being a blockchain consultant. These were my experiences before founding Glitter Finance in July of 2021.

♦️How David get the idea to start his project? How it was?

Yes, I was playing with my daughter who is 6, and she painted my toenail in glitter nail polish. At that point, I had ideas of creating a new project, and these experiences and thoughts coalesced into Glitter Finance. The ideas for Glitter came from the vision me and my wife had for several years, but the inspiration for the brand came from my kids.

♦️How Glitter Finance is fundamentally different from others?

As I have described above, our mentality is different. Glitter is meant to be a bridge between normal people and the DeFi innovation. We are striving to automate much of the process of investing into DeFi, to facilitate mass adoption.

♦️Do you think that your project will change the market? If so, how?

Yes, I think we have a game-changing project. The first reason for this is that we are working to create a project with the mentality of attracting non-crypto experts and traders first. That intention shapes how we think about developing the product. Secondarily, our project is an important contribution to the interoperability of Algorand, a major blockchain ecosystem.

♦️At what stage is the project now? Can one of the users become an investor?

We are currently raising within Private Round D. The round is mostly open to VCs, KOLs, and super angels.

♦️What was the most difficult for you?

The most difficult part for me was the first two months because it was hard to first put all the ideas together. I ended-up writing a lot of the whitepaper, doing all the fundraising myself, and even went unemployed for over a month, while pitching Glitter to investors.

♦️Biggest achievement and most impressive failure of project?

The biggest achievement was creating the current, version 2, whitepaper, getting the team together, raising 6 million in the private round.  The biggest failure I’ll keep to myself :).

♦️In any case, there are turning points. What were here?

I think the turning point for me was onboarding the Glitter developers, Mohammad Ghiasi and Shaghayegh Ghareghozly because great vision in technology needs great technologists to create it.

♦️What is the share of luck and luck in this project?

The luck has been in finding supportive investors, a great developer team, and really finding a niche that we can actually fill. I would also consider the support of the Algorand Foundation to be an incredibly lucky turn of events for Glitter.

♦️What do you do when inspiration leaves him?

I think this happens with anyone. Generally speaking, I try to not work when I don’t feel inspired, as I want to perform on a high level.

♦️What are your nearest plans?

At this point, we are working to launch the XGLI token on mainnet in Solana and Algorand in the nearest future. Further, we are launching our Solana to Algorand bridge onto testnet. The goal is to accomplish all of this before the end of February.

♦️David, what can you advise for our readers and newbies?

Read, watch videos, research, and never trade with money that you need for basic necessities. Trading money should be set aside, so that you can make mistakes and learn from them.

❔Questions from the followers❔:

♦️ What do you pay attention to when recruiting people to the team?

Obviously, qualifications are one thing. Another thing is whether the person will be able to fit into the company culture, and lastly, can I trust the person to work within my startup and follow my and my wife’s vision? These are the main points.

♦️Who do you consider your target audience? Was there a test of the bridge?

Our audience are people 17 to 45, with some technical knowledge, not necessarily traders, who nonetheless want to participate in the DeFi innovation to increase their financial health.

♦️What will you do in case of the collapse of the blockchains between which your bridge works?

Algorand has not had downtime in 4 years of existence. In any case, our goal is not to just be a bridge but to also be a layer 1.

♦️How do you plan to promote the token if the vast majority of exchanges refuse to work with Algorand?

We have an agreement already with a major exchange. I believe that the platform will be a major adoption case for the token, and will greatly strengthen it.

♦️What benefits does the holder of a token get, apart from market speculation?

They get to be part of the Glitter DAO, which helps us to whitelist yield pools and add recommended features to the platform. They can also update treasury fees.
