GETTING USED TO YOUR ATOMIC WALLET: A REVIEW OF ATOMIC WALLET APPLICATION

amusanmikel2

Like I earlier mentioned in my previous post, atomic wallet is offering decentralized experience to all its users. Currently the wallet supports the following platforms

  • Debian
  • Ubuntu
  • Fedora
  • MacOS and
  • Microsoft Windows.

Presently, the PC version of the wallet is available for download here. The mobile wallet will be available later (watch out for my upcoming posts).

The picture below shows the homepage of the wallet with the login, restore, and create features.

The login is meant for users that already signed up on the wallet; they can easily login using their password.

Restore from backup feature is meant for existing users that are logging in for the first time on another PC, they can easily access their wallet using their 12 words Backup phrase, thereafter clicking on the restore button.

New users can create an account within a glance just by setting a new wallet password on the application.

The picture below shows the overview of the wallet after a successful login, with several features.

The wallet displays all the assets owned by the user at a glance with their corresponding balance and wallet addresses. The overall worth of the assets in the wallet is displayed just below the atomic wallet logo as shown below;

Users have the opportunity of hiding their zero balances by clicking on the option Hide zero balance, the order of listing the assets can be changed too either from high to low balances or vice versa.

New tokens can be added in the list of assets by clicking on the tab Add token which takes you to a new page meant to add your tokens as shown below;

Users can add the contract address of the new token to be added in the Token contract address tab, thereafter the full name of the token can be added in the next tab below, followed by the short name and the decimals. The token automatically appears on the list of assets if these details are inserted correctly.

The refresh button is also available at the top which is meant to refresh the token balances on the list of assets in the wallet as illustrated in the picture below

You can search for a particular token by using the search space at the top of the wallet. This is illustrated by the arrow in the picture below;

A user can decide to remove several tokens from the list displayed on the wallet or add several new tokens; this has been made simple by just clicking the top right button in the wallet as shown below;

With this excellent feature, users can easily remove or add several tokens on the listed tokens at a click away without any stress.

Sending of tokens/coins can never be more better as atomic wallet send feature is very easy with no complications whatsoever. Users just need to click the send arrow at the front of whichever tokens they want to send, thereafter users can insert the amount of tokens to be sent, wallet address, and wallet password to authenticate the transaction. Transaction fee is always displayed below the amount to be sent. This is illustrated by the arrow in the picture below;

It’s conspicuous that with all these features in the atomic wallet application, cryptocurrency assets management will be less stressful as compared to what is being experienced in other crypto wallets we all are used to because of its excellent user friendly interface.

Kindly watch out for my next post as I will be making further review on other excellent features of the atomic wallet.
