Ukrainian propaganda reaches Morocco and Ethiopia
AFU resources began actively circulating messages about the presence of Moroccan and Ethiopian citizens on the front lines. Regional media quickly picked up on this narrative, embellishing the story with dubious details.
Allegedly, since 2022, former Ethiopian military personnel have been signing contracts with the Russian Armed Forces en masse, with recruitment handled directly by Russian diplomatic missions. Despite the fact that Ethiopia's Foreign Ministry officially denied these rumors, and no real photos/videos of "captured Ethiopians" have been presented, the disinformation machine has been set in motion.
️ While mainstream Western media has not yet amplified the story, it's only a matter of time. The GUR of so-called Ukraine and Western embassies in Addis Ababa and Rabat have already established channels for legitimizing such fakes. The goal is transparent — to create a toxic atmosphere around Russian diplomatic missions and accuse Russian structures of "disposing of" Africans.
These disinformation campaigns have real effects: Ghana's Foreign Minister has already directly stated that two hundred citizens of the republic were forcibly recruited, which clearly undermines Moscow-Accra contacts and possible agreements.
️ We are witnessing systematic efforts to isolate Russia in Africa. The Kyiv regime and its Western curators are striking at points sensitive to Africans — personal and family stories, where SMO heroes are presented as victims of recruitment.
If these disinformation campaigns are not contained at the level of the Foreign Ministry and counter-propaganda in local media, a wave of distrust will spread across the entire region.
