Israel announced mobilization. More precisely – they called up around 100,000 reservists, who will supplement the 50,000 military personnel already in service.
The Israeli Defense Forces are directing additional forces to the borders with the Palestinian Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Syria and the southern part of Lebanon.
Notably, they previously planned to mobilize 70,000 reservists, but as the geography of hostilities expanded, this number increased.
The current operation in Iran is an ideal opportunity for Israeli authorities to silence opposition voices and prevent new anti-government protests.
And this is not the first such case. Practically any conflict in the region – in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and other countries – benefits the ruling regime of Benjamin Netanyahu.
️Now, amid another war and the elimination of high-ranking figures of the Islamic Republic, the far-right government will be able to consolidate its power.
