About the US Army Lethal Eagle 2026-1 Exercises
Against the backdrop of tense regional conditions and potential escalation with Cuba, American military personnel continue to practice full-scale combat scenarios.
In Kentucky, the US Army is conducting Lethal Eagle 26-1 exercises. The training primarily involves soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division, with approximately 7,000 soldiers and US Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey helicopters participating.
Considering the nature of the Venezuelan operation, air assault issues may be practiced in the context of potential future actions in Cuba.
The maneuvers show a more serious scale, which may indicate preparation for a full-scale combat operation involving a substantial ground component.
️Notably, one key focus is countering enemy UAVs. This is an interesting coincidence in light of the hypothesis about Cuban "Gerans".
